Lima Alliance

Andrés Andrade has everything arranged to be the new reinforcement of Alianza Lima. The Colombian soccer player will sign for the 'intimates' to strengthen the midfield for the 2023 league 1 and the Copa Libertadores.

A few days ago, it was learned that the 'rifle' was in the crosshairs of the Victorian team after the signing of Lucas Menossi did not materialize. However, the board was inclined to try to bring in Christian Cueva, at least for the first six months of the year.

Despite his efforts, the man popularly known as 'Aladdin' failed to be loaned out by his club, Al Fateh. Even the club's sports director, Hassan Al Jabr, said that the Peruvian national team is an important part of the team and that they did not receive any formal offer for the 31-year-old midfielder.

Cueva was also considered in the last match of the Saudi Arabian team, where they lost 2-0 to Al Feiha. The Peruvian midfielder played 62 minutes before he was replaced by Ayman Al-Khulaif.

The 33-year-old offensive midfielder has everything done to be the new reinforcement of the La Victoria team. Along the same lines, Carlos Zambrano is still an option, but he also has offers from other clubs.

The Colombian soccer player belonged to Atlético Nacional last year. In the previous season, he played 48 games, scored five goals and provided five assists. In addition, he had 2,511 minutes on the field of play, where he started 31 times.

Alianza Lima has been preparing in a great way to start this year's campaign in style. The 'grones' have managed to make large contracts to be able to fulfill their objectives: win the 'three-time championship' of league 1 and break their losing streak in the most important tournament in South America.

One of the areas that they reinforced was the steering wheel. The signing they made was Jesús Castillo, who came from the Cantolao Academy. The 26-year-old player started 30 times at the 'dolphin'. His arrival allows for a replacement for Josepmir Ballón, captain of 'blanquiazul'.

The experienced footballer participated in 42 commitments throughout the last edition. He only missed two games in all the tournaments he had chances to be considered. Another who was one of the fixtures in the eleven was Pablo Lavandeira. The Uruguayan attacking midfielder did not miss a game, alternating between starting and substituting.

The former Ayacucho FC player was important in several 'intimate' duels to keep the three points. In total he converted 13 touchdowns and provided 13 assists. He was only below Hernán Barcos as the club's top scorer. Likewise, he participated in different positions in the game systems that the coaches were testing.

In addition, Jairo Concha was another of the key players in obtaining the titles at the end of the year. The Peruvian attacking midfielder was the leader of the 'grones' when it came to attacking. Cristian Benavente was another of the options in that sector, but he did not have the opportunities he expected in the last stretch of the championship.
