Crime in Saladillo Sur: a man was shot in the leg and died in Clemente Álvarez
A man who was shot on public roads in circumstances that are being investigated died this Saturday morning at the Clemente Álvarez Emergency Hospital (Heca). According to police sources, he received a shot from a firearm in the abdomen which, despite the efforts of the doctors who performed emergency treatment on him, caused his death.
The victim was identified as Maximiliano Julián Cáceres, 33 years old. They shot him near his home, in Lituania and Moliere, in the saladillo Sur neighborhood, in the extreme south of Rosario. Neighbors of the place called the 911 Emergency Center realizing that he was badly injured lying on the street. An ambulance from the Integrated Medical Emergency Service (Sies) transferred him to the public emergency medical center for his care.
Cáceres received a bullet wound to the right leg, which caused his death. According to the account of his brother, who went to Heca to accompany the shot, he left his house this Friday night without noticing where he was going. Just this morning they informed him that he had been shot and, as a result of his injuries, he had lost his life. He assured that he does not know the perpetrators or the circumstances of the event.
The Criminal Office of the Criminal Investigation Agency (AIC) carried out, by order of the Homicide prosecutor Ademar Bianchini, the survey of the crime scene and also took testimony from the inhabitants of the place in order to determine how Cáceres was shot. In addition, the area's public and private security cameras were surveyed to try to identify the perpetrators of the crime.
