Argentina beats France again in the virtual war for the final to be repeated

More than 200,000 French signed an online petition to repeat the World Cup final match in Qatar 2022, dissatisfied with some arbitration rulings. In response, from Argentina they launched a campaign to collect signatures so that the French fans "stop crying."

The request, formulated through the Change.org platform, demands that the French accept that Argentina is the world champion and that they "stop crying." The request, called "France stop crying", has already gathered 256,000 supporters.

On the French side, meanwhile, the fans of that country complained about the arbitration shortlist led by the Pole Szymon Marciniak in the World Cup final that consecrated the  Argentina and more than 200,000 people signed an unusual online request on the MesOpinions site asking to repeat the match.

For the signatories, it was not a penalty from Ousmane Dembelé against Ángel Di María in the first Argentine goal. In addition, they maintain that there was a foul prior to the 2-0 draw and that Lionel Messi's goal in extra time had to be canceled because the substitutes invaded the field before the ball crossed the line.

Marciniak himself responded to this last point and maintained that in Kylian Mbappé's third goal the exact same thing happened with the French substitutes. 

The response from Argentina was not long in coming: "Since we won the World Cup final, the French have not stopped crying, complaining and do not accept that Argentina is the world champion. This request is for the French to stop cry and accept that Messi is the best in the history of football and has Mbappé as his son", says Valentín Gómez, promoter of the campaign to collect signatures.
