"Be at peace, dad. A long time ago you had already lost the spark, the joy, your unique essence ”, begins Marina O'Neill's post. In turn, Marina took the opportunity to raise awareness about addictions, using the example of her father: "I also hope that your journey on this earth serves to understand more about alcoholism, this disease that seduced you and all your pain since you were a child. who took everything."

According to Zinedine Zidane, the Magician was "the most talented player I've ever seen". His daughter assured that "for more than 10 years the doctors have given us negative reports and counted your months of life."

In the last paragraph, Marina thanks him for everything he taught her, but first she highlighted something very personal: “The most important thing: I forgive you, pa. I swear I forgive you." And she left a message that will remain with her for eternity: "I love you forever and now I know that not only" until death "as you told me, but much more."

May you be at peace, dad.

A long time ago you had already lost the spark, the joy and your unique essence. Every time I saw you sadder, sicker, with lost eyes, drooping eyes, your physique that was always so strong, getting weaker and deteriorated. It hurt me to hear you ever say "I don't want to live anymore" in your few hours of sobriety.

I also hope that your journey on this earth serves to understand more about alcoholism, this disease that seduced you and all your pain since you were a child, that took away everything. I always wanted to understand what was so strong that you felt and couldn't deal with, what was it that you needed to literally drown every day of your life in glasses of alcohol. I'm very sorry for that pain, pa, I've been sorry in my soul forever; I wish I hadn't touched you, but we all came to this earth with our struggles and it's clear that your sensitivity can't stand that much.

Doctors have been giving us negative reports for more than 10 years and counting your months of life. It's been 10 years since I lost hope, but no one EVER prepares for this duel. And it couldn't be any other way: the least expected day but at the same time it hardly surprises me, you always attracted attention and every time you appeared they talked about you, so worthy of December 25, crazy.

The most important thing: I forgive you, pa. I swear I forgive you. I hope you could feel it at my farewell, when mom and I hold your hand (what a nice gift to have them both there, once again) I hope you felt the calm that I wanted to convey to you in the midst of so much chaos of emotions.

Thank you for giving me life, for leaving so much of you inside me, because I feel very identified and you touch every part of my personality. There is a lot of Fabian within this Marina and I can promise you that all things that I love about myself, and that they recognize me as qualities or virtues. I am proud of how loved you are, how loved by all. We will remember you all our lives with your kindness, your generosity to mango, the humility that comes out of your pores, your detachment with money, your light, your catchy look and your talents. I love you forever and now I know that not only "until death" as you called me, but much more.

I hope you could feel it at my farewell, when mom and I hold your hand (what a nice gift to have them both there, once again) I hope you felt the calm that I wanted to convey to you in the midst of so much chaos of emotions.
