'Lomo saltado de reindeer', the gastronomic fusion of a Finn that went viral on TikTok

Peruvian food is one of the most outstanding in the world. Its wide variety of dishes has captured the attention of different people globally, to the point of creating unexpected fusions.

In recent days, a video has rocked the TikTok social network, where you can see how a Finn fused a classic Peruvian dish with a native ingredient from his country.

It was the user Vane Valtonen (@vanevaltonen) who shared a 1:35 clip through his TikTok account, which already has around 164,000 views and more than 14,000 likes.

The protagonists of the video are a couple made up of a Finn and a Peruvian. The published video bears the name of "Lomo Saltado de Reno" and is about a culinary fusion between both countries.

“Do you see what we are going to eat today? Because in Finland there are very exotic and strange foods," the Peruvian says at the beginning of the video.

Immediately his partner replies that he will prepare a Peruvian meal, but with reindeer meat, “you will love it”.

“Reindeer 'Poron ulkofile', reindeer tenderloin. We are going to cut it into little pieces and we are going to season it with salt, soy sauce, cumin, oregano, pankita and maceranos for half an hour, ”the Finn replied as part of his recipe.

He went on to cook the meat and add the onion and tomato.

At the end of cooking, he added rice, French fries and oregano. Her partner skeptically tried it and her response surprised.

"Delicious! He is good and very soft. He is hot. This merger is 100 out of 100″, said the woman.

The reaction of the users was immediate and they quickly commented on the viral video.
